Registration Process

We have written out an explanation of our registration process below in an attempt to clarify what can be a complicated process. If it seems repetitive please bear with us as it is important that you understand the way in which registration takes place.

In order to enroll at Little Ark preschool the following three steps must be completed:

1. Submission of online contact form. We will then send you an email invitation to one of our Open Houses, which are held twice a year in February and November.

2. Attendance at an *Open House. If you are interested in having your child attend LAP after having visited the school, leave your contact information on the sheets provided at the Open House. This will place you in a prioritized queue for registration.

3. Official Registration of people in the prioritized queue occur after in-house registration of currently enrolled students and children of parishioners, followed by siblings of previous or current students.

Priority for registration, as per our policies, is given first to children of parishioners followed by siblings of previous or current students. We then hold a first come first served registration for families who have attended an open house and are in the prioritized queue for registration. The queue is prioritized by the year in which people attended an open house. Only those families who are on our prioritized list are invited to attend the registration day. We inform these families about the number of spaces available so that they do not line up unnecessarily. If any spaces remain following this process, we will inform families on our confirmed interest data base (prioritized by the year in which they attended the open house) and run another first come first served official registration.

Once we have completed open houses for the year, all those who attended will receive confirmation of where they stand in the priority queue order. This should give people a good understanding of the available program space before official registration starts.
