The Programs
Little Ark Preschool currently runs a 3 Year Old program as well
as a 4 Year Old program, both of which operate from September to June.
There is also a program for 2 ½ Year Old which operates only from

Morning Class (3 Year Olds)
Tuesday to Thursday
9:15am-11:45am
1:8 teacher to child ratio
9:15-9:30 Short Group Meeting
Welcome song
9:30-10:45 Free Choice Time
Sunshine Room, Rainbow Room, and Art Studio open for free choice.
Children move freely through the day's activities. During this time
the children in each room are free to eat their snack at the provided
snack tables whenever they are hungry.
10:45-11:15 Gross Motor Play
At this time the children enjoy gross motor activities either in the gym, or at the outdoor playground
11:15-11:45 Circle Time and Dismissal
During this time, children gather in the Sunshine Room where teachers provide the children with a rich variety of written stories, felt board stories, group games, as well as music and movement. This is followed by a goodbye song, and dismissal.
*Please Note:* On some occasions, when weather
permits outdoor play, the children will be dismissed from the playground
once parents have signed out their child.

Located in our art studio, this program offers parents a wonderful way to introduce their children to a preschool setting where the children
are exposed to an interactive social environment away from home. It is a sensory motor program that teaches children basic fine motor, gross motor and social skills. The program runs from January to June, and is offered to children who are 2 ½ years old as of January 1st in the year they wish to attend.
