Arrival and Departure Procedures

Call if your child will be absent from class.
Accompany you child into the preschool, allowing time for removing and hanging up his/her clothing
Stay with your child until teachers are present in the classroom
Ensure your child is signed in upon arrival, and that the name of the adult picking up your child is written on the sign-out sheet

Ensure that the adult picking up your child is authorized to do so, and that this person is at least 19 years of age. At the teacher's discretion, written permission must be given prior to pick up time, in order for your child to be released into the care of a sibling or babysitter 16 years or older.
Inform the teacher by telephone if the authorized adult is unable to pick up your child. (Provide the name and description of the adult who will be picking up your child in their place. A teacher will ask to see picture I.D. if a person is unfamiliar to them).
Be aware that teachers will not release your child to an adult who appears to be "under the influence". Alternate plans will be made at the time.
When being dismissed from outside, your child must be signed out by the received adult. A signature is required.
Pick up your child promptly at the end of class. We would appreciate a phone call if you are going to be late.
